C7-A2 INCREASING CAPACITY OF EXISTING FRAGMENTATION AND DECONTAMINATION FACILITIES

Scope of the project
Scope of this project is to increase existing fragmentation and decontamination facilities located in turbine hall (CO 34) of A1 NPP Jaslovské Bohunice, Slovak Republic. In mentioned premises are already installed equipment’s for treatment of radioactive waste (RAW). Due to the decommissioning process in V1 NPP Jaslovské Bohunice, flow of RAW will be increased and also dimensions of the processed pieces will be bigger. Existing RAW process line was not able fulfill requirements of the V1 decommissioning process and client decided to increase the capacity.

• Engineering, supply and installation of following equipment:
Fragmentation line:
• Band saw for fragmentation of thick-walled/oversized metal materials (1200x1200mm, length 4000mm),
• Containment with camera system
• High capacity decontamination line:
• Supply and installation:
• titanium decontamination basket to the high-capacity decontamination line,
• Rinsing bath for post-decontamination metal RAW rinsing by water-jetting, for the high-capacity decontamination line,
• circular pumps ultra-sound emitters and generators to the rinsing bath V2
Decontamination equipment:
• Suspended blasting equipment including containment

• Complete modernization of HVAC system
